April Outdoor Bridal Shower Venue | Private Events at Table and Main

We couldn't have asked for better weather this past weekend to host our first bridal shower of the season! The lovely host, Lindsey, chose to honor her sister Katie with a party on the patio surrounded by family and close friends. Katie, who is getting married in New Orleans in September of this year, had family fly in from all over the country to join the celebration, which was held on our glorious patio with the two-hundred year old wisteria vine surrounding the patio and flowering trees in full bloom. It couldn't have been a more perfect Spring day!

Tables were joined and draped in linens to create one large family-style table that was perfect for sharing food and conversation. Lindsey's family came early to decorate and customize the patio space. Our newly installed stone fireplace was a perfect focal point for photos of the bride and her family and friends. A southern Spring and Summer garden staple, hydrangeas, adorned the tables. Lovely details such as paper lanterns added a bright pop of color.

Lindsey's guests enjoyed our two-course menu which was customized to include local favorites such as the Meatloaf Meatballs, She-crab Soup, Fried Chicken (recently noted by Zagat as one of Atlanta's top 9 "best bets"), and Shrimp and Grits. Iced tea, Chardonnay and Mimosas kept the ladies refreshed as temperatures rose to one of the warmest days of the season yet. For dessert, some guests enjoyed some of the new Spring dessert creations by Chef Micki Kimberly. Lindsey also brought in a lovely cake made by a special family friend for her guests to enjoy and was so gracious to let us have a taste and let me tell you, it was yummy! This friend will also be making Katie's wedding cake - such a nice touch to have her "participate" in the bridal shower as well and provide a preview of what her wedding cake might taste like!

We enjoyed celebrating with Lindsey, Katie and their family and friends and hope to see them again soon!
